Polygraph Examinations
Polygraph Exams | Lie Detector Tests
A polygraph collects physiological data by measuring and recording respiratory activity, sweat gland activity and cardiovascular activity. It is performed in a controlled atmosphere by a licensed polygraph examiner.
A typical polygraph exam includes a pre-test session, a chart collection phase during the administration of the test, a post-test phase and, finally, a data analysis of the charts when the examiner renders an opinion of truthfulness.
The polygraph exam is often referred to as a lie detector test.
