Statements and Canvass | Witness Evaluation
When witnesses to an event are located, clients often turn to licensed professional investigators to conduct the witness interviews.
During the fact gathering process, witnesses may be canvassed for the purposes of obtaining permanent statements or versions of an incident. Statements can take many forms including affidavits, recordings or handwritten accounts signed by those interviewed.
Professional investigators serve as an unbiased third party whose role is to develop an accurate picture of an incident, often from multiple viewpoints.
Investigators typically have years of interview experience, often through law enforcement service or insurance experience, which allows them to focus on the essential components of the client’s case.
